For the Children
“BBC Children in Need is the BBC’s UK corporate charity. Thanks to the support of the public, we’re able to make a real difference to the lives of children all across the UK.”
Children in Need provides much needed support to Children across the UK, offering grants to organisations and individuals for projects which help to improve and change young peoples lives for the better.

Young people and mental health
Amongst all of the worthwhile projects supported by Children in Need, there are projects which focus on improving young peoples mental health such as The Well Centre, Cunámh Eating Disorder Project and Harmless.
You can help support these projects and others like them by making a donation to Children in Need and help to improve young peoples mental health.
It is estimated that all mental health conditions are present by the age of 14 and that 1 in 10 young people (3 in every classroom) will experience mental health issues in any given year. Out of those children who have a diagnosed mental health condition, 3 in every 4 do not have access to the support they need.
Even if you are only able to donate £1 it all adds up and it can help make a big difference to a young persons life.
For information on how to make a donation please visit the BBC Children in Need donation page on their website: https://bit.ly/2yVx2JQ
“Donating through Gift Aid means charities and community amateur sports clubs (CASCs) can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give. It won’t cost you any extra.”
