We have three different kinds of volunteering opportunities which are listed below. If you feel you have the necessary qualities, why not apply. We would particularly welcome volunteers who have their own experience of mental health problems.

Day Services volunteers support individuals at our drop-in centre and community venues to undertake various activities and assist in teaching different skills.

Befriending Scheme is looking to train and support volunteers to help people who have mental health problems engage socially within the community i.e. going to a café, cinema. This could be a fun, rewarding way to build confidence and experience for both the volunteer and individual using the scheme.

Training Project, from time-to-time recruits people with a lived experience of mental health problems to join the training team.

It would be useful if you are able to indicate the times of day you are available. (This must be for a minimum of 6 months)

Please give the details of two referees. These may be past employers, college/university lecturers, support workers, friends, etc.
