The Mayor of Dudley is inviting people to take part in a 7 mile Charity Winter Walk on Sunday the 28th of January 2018. Starting at the Bonded Warehouse in Stourbridge, the walk will continue on to the Prestwood area along the canals, looping back around to the Bonded Warehouse where the walk will end.
People can register at https://www.mayorofdudley.org.uk/events-1/mayors-winter-walk/form. A sponsorship form will then be sent via email. Queries can be emailed to mayoral ambassador Sue Randle on firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling her on 07412 531924. Entry fee is just £1 and is payable on arrival on the day.
All money raised from the walk will be donated to the Mayor’s charities, Dudley Mind, the YMCA and Dudley Alzheimer’s Society.
There will also be the chance to snap up a copy of a calendar produced by local artists and photographers on behalf of the Mayor.Reflections: Photographs and Paintings of Dudley also go to Councillor Tyler’s chosen charities.

“After the Christmas festivities and over-indulgence lots of people start the new year with renewed enthusiasm to get fitter and slimmer.
“I hope that people will come on the sponsored walk to help kick start their fitness campaigns and meanwhile help raise money for three worthy charities.”
The winter walk was held for the first time last year by former mayor, Councillor Mohammed Hanif. More than 100 people took part and over £500 was raised for his chosen charities.
