Feel Good Choir

feelgood choirWe are a friendly choir that meets once a week the main aim of which is to come away from the rehearsal “Feeling Good” .

The choir has Motown and Soul influences, the same as our musical director Martin Trotman http://www.martintrotman.co.uk

No previous experience is needed just a love of singing. Songs are learnt “by rote” and you do not have to be able to read music. Many people in the choir haven’t sung since they were at school.

When and where do you meet?

Wednesday evenings  6-7.30pm. DY1, Stafford Street, Dudley, DY1 1RT.

How much does it cost?

The first taster session is free!  If you like us after that and you are employed we ask for a monthly standing order of £12 a month. If you like us and you are not waged we ask for a minimum £2 weekly contribution.

Here are a few comments from participants:

“Everything – it’s fantastic. I look forward to seeing everyone every week. We laugh and have fun and I have learnt a lot about singing and harmonies. It really does make me “Feel Good!”

“If I’m made to feel good by singing I’m able to cope with my physical illness. We have all come together now as a group and become friends”

“It helps me to maintain a positive attitude. Previous periods of depression havenot returned and it helps to keep my blood sugar low (diabetes).”

“Really glad I joined and it’s great how we welcome new members. I like the “All welcome” atmosphere no matter what your ability or experience. Keep it going!”
