Last Friday (19/4/19) we attended the West Bromwich Albion vs Hull City match as part of Mind’s EFL partnership to help raise funds and spread mental health awareness to hundreds of WBA and Hull City fans.
“Together with the EFL, we’ll harness the power of football to raise awareness of mental health, improve the approach to mental health in sport and raise funds to deliver life changing national and local support.”
In total we managed to raise £307 of which Dudley Mind will receive £260.95 and the remaining £46.05 will go to Mind.
We would like to give a special thank to all of the people who volunteered for us during the match and wore one of our bright yellow Dudley Mind T-Shirts (you brave people).
So thank you; Mark, Anna (Clamason, our charity partners), Lynette, Damian (DM trustee), Ben, Mike (DM treasurer), Kelly (Nova Training), Lewis (Nova Training), Vidal (Nova Training), Andrew, Suzanne, Ray (DM gardening Project volunteer), Hayley (Jolly Joggers & Mind), Andy (Jolly joggers & Dudley MAD Group), Steve, Fiona (DM trustee) and last but not least Laura.
Bellow are a few pictures from the day starting with my favorite one, Hayley wearing her Mind T-Shirt surrounded by people (including her husband Andy) wearing Dudley Mind T-Shirts.
