Volunteer peer supporter role description
We are looking for volunteers in the Kidderminster area who understand what it is like to have a personal experience of mental ill health. The right person for this role would have previous work experience in a peer support setting and have a few hours to spare each week to support people who are currently receiving support from mental health services.
If you have previous experience and:
- Empathy for others
- Good listening skills
- A non-judgemental approach
- And are passionate about supporting people with similar situations to your own
