As most of you will know, the week starting October 7th - 13th is Mental Health Awareness Week, as well as World Mental Health Day falling on the 10th. Every year we do our best to raise as much awareness as possible during Mental Health Awareness Week and especially on World Mental Health Day.
So what have we been doing this week?
starting n Monday 6th, we have been holding a stall at Marks & Spencer at Merry Hill every day this week providing advice and information around mental health and helping people find the support they need.
Also on Monday 7th October our CEO Sandra gave a talk around mental health to Marks & Spencer managers and staff. Over the weekend we will also be participating in our regular backpacking events as part of our charity partnership with M&S. Wednesday the 9th was the day of our midnight walk which took place along the Waterfront, Merry Hill to mark World Mental Health Day and raise awareness for this years theme,suicide prevention.Thank you to everyone who came along to this event, especially to our charity partners and the other organisations and groups who support our cause.

allow="encrypted-media"> On Thursday 10th, World Mental Helath Day itself, we attended Home Servere wallsall's Wellbeing Day as part of their iniciative to offer mental health support to all of their employees and even going as far to
train their own in-house Mental Health First Aid instructors.
Also on Thursday the 10th we held our Annual General meeting at our hub a on the Bushey Fields Hospital Estate in Dudley.
